Most AI training falls into one of two camps. Either it's a generic slideshow on "the future of AI," or it's a technical course built for people who were already going to learn AI anyway. Neither one helps the accountant who needs to know what to trust in an AI-drafted report or the HR manager who needs to know what not to feed into a recruitment tool.
Coursus exists to close that gap. We build training around what people actually do at work, not around what's easy to film.

What we believe
Training should hold up under scrutiny. If a course claims to prepare someone for a regulation, a workflow, or a job, it should survive someone actually checking the details. We'd rather cut a claim than leave one we can't stand behind.
Role beats generic. An HR team, a sales team, and a legal team don't face the same AI risks or the same opportunities. Training that treats them identically wastes both everyone's time and resources.
Practical outranks theoretical. We're more interested in what someone can do differently on Monday morning than in what they can recite about AI in the abstract.
Global, not just Silicon Valley. AI adoption isn't only a story about the US and Western Europe. We build for professionals and businesses in the UK, across Africa, and everywhere in between who are building real careers and real companies around this shift.

Coursus Premium: Cohort-based programmes for people who want structured, guided depth in one area: building an AI agency, agentic AI systems, prompt engineering, AI automation and workflow design, and more. Our flagship here is the twelve-week Certified Chief AI Officer programme, for senior leaders taking on the AI mandate inside their organisation.
Corporate AI Training: Role-based AI literacy programmes for organisations, built around an actual inventory of how a company uses AI rather than a one-size-fits-all deck. This is also where we help teams work through obligations like Article 4 of the EU AI Act.
How we work
Coursus was founded in mid-2025 by a team that brought a legal background into AI education: get the underlying facts right first, then teach from there. That standard runs through our course content, our blog, and our corporate programmes. We're a small team, and growing.
