Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Coursus.io platform, including all Learn on the Fly challenges, Premium Cohort programmes, and Corporate AI Training engagements. They apply to every user — students, community members, and visitors. They are separate from the Coursus.io Affiliate Programme Terms & Privacy Notice, which govern affiliates specifically.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a course, joining a cohort, or otherwise using Coursus.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. About Coursus.io

Coursus.io provides AI-skills education across three formats:

• Learn on the Fly — self-serve, 30-day AI challenges
• Premium Cohorts — structured, higher-touch programmes such as CCAIO, AI Agency, and Agentic AI tracks
• Corporate AI Training — custom-quoted team and enterprise training

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payments, Pricing & Refunds

Prices are shown at the point of purchase in the applicable currency. Payment is processed at checkout for Learn on the Fly and Premium Cohort purchases. Corporate AI Training is invoiced separately under a custom agreement. Refund eligibility and windows are specified on the relevant course or programme page at time of purchase.

5. Academic Integrity & Student Conduct

Coursus.io expects all learners to engage honestly with course material. The following are considered academic misconduct and may result in enforcement action under Section 12:

• Misrepresenting who actually completed an assignment, exercise, or assessment
• Plagiarism — submitting another person's work, or AI-generated work, as your own where original work is required
• Circumventing course completion tracking or progress requirements through technical means
• Submitting the same work across multiple courses or cohorts without disclosure, where this conflicts with programme requirements

6. Account Sharing & Unauthorized Access

Your account and course access are for your personal use only. Sharing your login credentials, or otherwise granting a third party access to paid content you purchased, is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension of access without refund.

7. Content License Granted to You

Purchasing a course or programme grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view that content for your own learning. You may not:

• Record, download, screen-capture, or otherwise reproduce course content for redistribution
• Resell, sublicense, or share course materials with anyone who has not independently purchased access
• Use course content to build or train a competing product or service

8. Community Guidelines

Coursus.io hosts discussion spaces, Q&A, and community areas for learners. When participating, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or use abusive or discriminatory language toward any other user
• Post spam, unrelated promotions, or advertisements for competing products or services
• Share other users' personal information without their consent

9. Content You Submit

If you post comments, questions, assignments, or other content within the platform, you retain ownership of it, but grant Coursus.io a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content within the platform for the purpose of operating and improving our services.

10. Our Intellectual Property

All course content, curriculum, branding, and platform software are the property of Coursus.io or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you.

11. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the conduct described above, the following are prohibited on Coursus.io:

• Any unlawful activity, or activity that violates the rights of others
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform, other accounts, or Coursus.io systems
• Uploading malware, or attempting to disrupt or overload platform infrastructure
• Scraping, harvesting, or automated collection of platform content or user data
• Impersonating Coursus.io staff, instructors, or other users

12. Enforcement Process

Where possible, violations of these Terms are addressed through a staged process rather than immediate termination, so users have an opportunity to correct behaviour before losing access:

1st occurrence	Warning email explaining the violation and these Terms
2nd occurrence	Temporary restriction of community/discussion access
3rd occurrence	Suspension of platform access
Severe or repeated violations	Immediate termination without refund

Coursus.io reserves the right to skip directly to suspension or termination for serious violations, including fraud, harassment, or unauthorized redistribution of paid content.

13. Termination

You may stop using Coursus.io at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, following the process in Section 12 where applicable. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.

14. Corporate & Team Training

Corporate AI Training engagements are governed by these Terms in addition to the specific commercial agreement signed between Coursus.io and the client organization. Where the two conflict, the signed commercial agreement takes precedence.

15. Disclaimers

Coursus.io provides educational content "as is." We do not guarantee specific career, income, or business outcomes as a result of completing any course, challenge, or cohort.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coursus.io's liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the specific course or programme giving rise to the claim.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

18. Changes to These Terms

Coursus.io may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
