This page governs participation in the Coursus.io Affiliate Programme specifically. It supplements — and does not replace — coursus.io's general site-wide Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, published separately.

Affiliate Programme Terms

1. Acceptance

By registering as a Coursus.io affiliate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not register or use your affiliate link.

2. The Programme

The programme covers three product tiers, each with its own commission structure:

Tier 1 — Learn on the Fly: 30% commission per sale. Open to any affiliate, no application required.
Tier 2 — Premium Cohorts: 25% commission, calculated on the net enrolment price after any discount. Requires application and approval.
Tier 3 — Corporate AI Training: introduction-fee model, paid once a referred lead becomes a signed client. Fee amount to be confirmed; requires approval.

3. Attribution

Referrals are tracked via a 30-day cookie window from the point a visitor clicks your affiliate link. If a customer clicks links from more than one affiliate, credit goes to the most recent (last-touch) referral prior to purchase.

4. Payments

Minimum payout threshold: $50. Balances below this roll over to the next payout cycle.
Payouts are issued monthly via PayPal or bank transfer.
You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax owed on commissions earned under this programme in your own jurisdiction. Coursus.io does not withhold tax on your behalf.

5. Refunds and Clawbacks

If a referred purchase is refunded within the applicable course's refund window, the associated commission will be reversed and deducted from your next payout.

6. Prohibited Conduct

The following are not permitted and may result in commission forfeiture and/or removal from the programme:

Use of bots, cookie-stuffing, or any automated/fraudulent traffic generation
Incentivized clicking or paying third parties to click your link without genuine intent to purchase
Bidding on "Coursus" or "Coursus.io" brand terms in paid search advertising
False, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about course outcomes, income potential, or results
Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or promotion on platforms that prohibit affiliate links

7. Eligibility and Approval

Tier 1 access is granted automatically on registration. Tier 2 and Tier 3 access require an application and are granted at Coursus.io's discretion, typically after demonstrated genuine Tier 1 referral activity. Approval may be revoked at any time for violation of these terms.

8. Term and Termination

Either party may end the affiliate relationship at any time. Commissions properly earned prior to termination will be paid on the normal schedule, except where termination is due to fraud or a violation of Section 6, in which case unpaid commissions may be forfeited.

9. Changes to the Programme

Coursus.io may update commission rates, payout thresholds, or these terms from time to time. Changes apply prospectively and will not retroactively reduce commissions already earned on completed sales.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Affiliate Privacy Notice

1. What We Collect

Your email address, provided when you register
Referral and click activity associated with your unique affiliate link, used to attribute sales to you
Payout details (PayPal email or bank information), collected only once you're approved for payout

2. Why We Collect It

Solely to operate the affiliate programme: creating and managing your affiliate account, tracking and attributing referrals, calculating and issuing commission payments, and preventing fraudulent activity.

3. Who We Share It With

Your data is shared only with the systems required to run the programme: our affiliate tracking software, and our payment processor for issuing payouts. We do not sell or share your data for any other purpose.

4. How Long We Keep It

We retain your affiliate account data while your account remains active, and for a period afterward as required for financial and tax record-keeping.

5. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your affiliate account data at any time by contacting us at affiliates@coursus.io.
